Fitting Guide
WE RECOMMEND WET APPLICATION - ALTHOUGH YOU CAN APPLY THEM DRY.
Step 1. Unpack all of your graphics and lay them out on a clear surface- the floor is always a good option. Now, separate all of the graphics into order of location. So, a pile of Bonnet Graphics, Rear Graphics, Left side Etc. Your vehicle should be clean and dry. If not, please do this before starting. Next, you need to clean the area you are applying graphics to with soapy water.
Step 2. Place two pieces of masking tape to each end of the graphics you are applying and tack to the surface, roughly in position. Using a tape measure or ruler, measure to the correct position. Then place a strip of masking tape in the middle of the graphic.
Step 3. Slowly start peeling off the backing paper, making sure the graphic does not touch the surface until you are ready to apply them. Then with your spray solution spray the vehicle and the graphic making sure you are covering the whole area.
Step 4. Whilst still holding the graphic away from the surface, use your other hand (with a squeegee ideally or a credit card) to start applying the graphic. Use a steady left and right motion whilst slowly moving up and down the graphic pushing out the way - keeping a firm constant pressure with the squeegee/credit card.
Step 5. Make any cuts that are needed then, slowly start peeling off the transfer paper, to make this easier spray over it with your water solution- this will weaken the adhesive and make it a lot easier. If the vinyl tries to come up when you first start peeling back the transfer, don't worry just push it back down and squeegee over it or hold the edge down while carefully peeling back.
WARNING - Don't wash the area where the graphics are for at least 10 days and there after don't go to close with the jet washer.
TIP - When removing the backing, peel the backing away from the vinyl rather than the transfer tape away from the backing.
